My vision for a strong Africa

Africa as a concept and a continent must be renegotiated. Africa can no longer abide the definitions of historical blackmail. The continent can longer afford the luxury of being a perfect ontology of what failed enterprises represent. Africa should no more be allowed to be a conqueror’s paradise and a clement environment for every kind of knavery. The poverty of the continent is a scandal, which to a great extent portrays the poverty of leadership bedeviling the continent.
For this continent to escape the chains that has tied her to the pillars of eternal poverty and underdevelopment, the continent must cease to apologize for its predicament. She must cease to seek permission from the world metropoles in order to develop; chart a course or navigate her way out of her predicaments. China never sought anyone’s permission to develop. Africa must navigate her way principally on her terms, before ever she could be taken serious by others. The truism is forever valid. Every bondsman in his hands lies the keys to cancel his captivity.
